| Company Background
EcoEnergy Solutions, Inc. is a privately held environmental
company committed to developing the cleanest liquid
fuel technologies on the planet. Its product portfolio
features an emulsion technology for a broad range of
hydrocarbon-based products and water.
EcoEnergy Solutions was formed in the summer of 2005
after acquiring the technology and licensing rights
of Clean Fuels Technology, Inc. (CFT). CFT was a pioneer
in emulsified fuels and its technology was licensed
to a number of international companies such as Caterpillar
Inc. (engine OEM), Lubrizol Corporation (specialty chemical
company) and Shell Oil.
EcoEnergy
Solutions is located in Reno, Nevada, where the high
desert climate offers a diverse environment for the
development of new technologies. EcoEnergy Solutions
operates from an efficiently sized corporate office
that also is home to its state-of-the-art laboratory.
Additionally, EcoEnergy Solutions has relationships
with other companies and universities that provide additional
resources for development and testing facilities.
EcoEnergy Solutions understands that its technology
must meet the high expectations of the ultimate customer.
Accordingly, the company has organized its development
and commercial efforts into chemical studies, mechanical
studies and combustion studies.
Chemical
studies cover the chemistry of the additives, the petroleum,
the water and the resulting emulsions. Mechanical studies
cover the blending process for mixing the various petroleum
products, water and additives.
Combustion studies cover the ultimate end users’
application. Over the years, EcoEnergy Solutions’
employees have determined that a better understanding
of the combustion properties of emulsions is necessary
because the ultimate customer is essentially paying
for a particular combustion performance not a particular
fuel.
By structuring its resources around chemical, mechanical
and combustion engineering, EcoEnergy Solutions is uniquely
positioned to maximize the combustion environment to
improve combustion efficiencies and reduce harmful emissions.
EcoEnergy Solutions licenses its technology around the
world and holds over 100 patents and applications worldwide.
